Aviva in digital tech revamp
Insurance and asset management firm Aviva has signed a tech modernisation deal with Atos. The vendor will deliver “cross enterprise critical data services” to Aviva over a six and-a-half year period.
Atos describes the contract as “significant”. Aviva will utilise Atos Canopy, mainframe, security, database and middleware solutions as well as the vendor’s global delivery centres.
An 18-month transitional period from the incumbent provider, included in the agreement, is now underway.
“Aviva is a highly significant and strategic client which builds momentum in our financial services business and, in particular, the core growth insurance sub-sector,” says Adrian Gregory, CEO Atos UK&I.
